Privacy Policy

Effective 27 September 2026

The short version

Who we are

This policy covers the Gleed app and this website. “Gleed”, “we” and “us” mean the team that makes the app. You can reach us through the support page.

What stays on your device

Everything you put into Gleed — tasks, notes, due dates, your daily one thing, focus sessions, reflections and settings — is kept in a database inside the app on your device. We can’t see it, and none of it is sent to us unless you use one of the optional features below.

AI prioritization (optional, off by default)

Gleed can suggest which task to do today. Normally that suggestion is worked out on your device. If you turn on AI prioritization and accept the notice in the app, then each time you ask for a suggestion the app sends:

It never sends task notes, reflections, your history or anything else.

The request goes through our server to a third-party AI model provider. The provider acts as our processor: it uses the data only to produce your suggestion. Under its terms for business customers it does not train its models on this data, and it may keep it for a limited time for safety and abuse monitoring. Our server does not store the request or the answer. Our logs record only counts, such as how many tasks were sent and how long the answer took.

If you use this feature, avoid putting sensitive personal details in task titles. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Data & privacy → Privacy, and the app goes back to on-device suggestions.

Anonymous usage stats (optional, off by default)

If you turn on “Share anonymous usage stats”, the app records product events such as “focus session completed” or “task created”. Each event carries only numbers, yes/no values and fixed labels, plus the app version and a random install ID that isn’t linked to your name, email or device. Events never include task titles, notes, reflections or anything you type.

Events are sent in batches to our analytics provider and are used only to learn which features help and what to improve. We don’t build personal profiles from them. If you turn this off, any events still waiting on your device are deleted.

Purchases

Gleed Plus is sold through the App Store and Google Play. Apple or Google take the payment; we never see your card or billing details. We use a subscription management provider to check what you’ve bought. It receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase records from the store (such as the product, dates and transaction IDs) so it can unlock Plus and restore your purchases.

Feedback and support messages

When you send feedback from the app or through the support page, we receive the message, its category and, if available, your platform and app version. Our team reads these messages to fix problems and improve the app. Neither form asks for your name or email. If you include an email address so we can reply, we use it only for that. We keep messages only as long as we need them.

Our server and this website

Our server runs on a cloud hosting provider. Like any website, it receives your IP address and basic request details, such as the time and the page requested. We use your IP address briefly, in memory only, to stop abuse such as too many requests in a minute. We don’t store it. The hosting provider may keep standard request logs for a limited time for security and operations.

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and it loads nothing from other websites.

What we never do

Where data is processed

Our hosting, AI, analytics and subscription providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we use the safeguards it sets for these transfers.

Your choices and rights

Because there’s no account, we can’t recover data for you if your phone is lost or the app is deleted. Keep an export somewhere safe.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, and to object to or limit how it’s used. To use these rights, contact us through the support page. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Gleed isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell you in the app.
