Answers to common questions, and a direct line to the people who make Gleed.

Common questions

How do I back up my data or move it to a new phone?

Gleed has no account, so your data lives only on your phone. Go to Settings → Data & privacy → Your data and choose Export your data. Save the file somewhere safe, such as Files, iCloud Drive or Google Drive.

On the new phone, install Gleed, go to the same screen, choose Import from a file and pick that file. Importing replaces everything currently in the app on that phone.

How do I delete my Gleed data?

Everything in the app: go to Settings → Data & privacy → Your data and choose Delete all data. It permanently removes your tasks, history, reflections and settings, cancels scheduled reminders and clears the widget. Uninstalling the app also removes everything from the device. We don’t keep a copy anywhere else.

Feedback you sent us: this is the only data we hold (your message, its category, and your platform and app version if the app sent them). To have it deleted, use the form below: choose “Something else”, write “Delete my feedback”, and include your email address and roughly when you sent it. We’ll delete those messages and reply to confirm.

My reminders aren’t showing up.
  • Check that reminders are on in Settings → Notifications → Reminders, at the times you expect.
  • Check that notifications are allowed for Gleed in your phone’s settings.
  • Quiet hours are on by default from 10 pm to 7 am. Reminders in that window are skipped.
  • A Focus mode or Do Not Disturb can hide them.
  • On Android, battery optimisation can delay reminders. Set Gleed’s battery use to unrestricted.
  • Reminders are planned a few days ahead each time you open the app, so they stop if you haven’t opened it for a few days. Open it once and they come back.
How do I restore Gleed Plus?

Sign in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy it. Open Gleed, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases. Purchases don’t move between iPhone and Android.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Gleed.

Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Gleed.

Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.
